Accountant
Highland Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with healthcare financial regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent)

Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred

Knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and hospital billing software

Understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance

Ability to handle audits and financial reporting

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and general ledger entries

Manage accounts payable/receivable and monthly reconciliations
-
Prepare financial statements and monthly MIS reports
-
Assist with internal and external audits

Ensure compliance with taxation and hospital accounting standards

Coordinate with other departments for smooth financial operations
